This weekend RSK Raw colleagues again took part in the annual Treecycling campaign to support St Mary’s Hospice, Birmingham.

Not only is this the 8th time that RSK Raw have participated, this year they were again joined by teams from our sister companies in the RSK family, RSK Geosciences and RSK Asbestos.

The Treecycling scheme organises the collection of redundant Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes from households across Birmingham following the festive period. Those making use of the scheme make a valuable donation to the hospice, and avoid a car full of pine needles and a queue at the local tip!

This year 5,500 trees have been collected for chipping and responsible disposal, eighty were collected in our van alone, raising £98,000 towards the invaluable work the hospice does to support those with life-limiting illnesses across Birmingham.

RSK Raw would like to say a massive ‘Well done!’ to all of those who gave up their time and muscles to get involved!
